Beach and Sun

This small and hidden gem is situated on a quiet, unspoiled sandy beach along Mozambique's long eastern coastline. This beach is lined with peaceful palm trees, providing a getaway from the busy tourist scene and vendors.

Here, you can relax and enjoy the calm and peaceful atmosphere of the sea and sun. You can also watch local fishermen gently bringing in their daily catch from their traditional dhow boats. Weaving Palha

While you're on vacation and shopping for souvenirs to bring back to your family and friends, why not make it even more personal by crafting them yourself?

Many women in Linga Linga create incredibly beautiful, fashion-conscious, and sustainable bags, hats, and other crafts by weaving the local material, palha (lala palm). Learn the art of weaving, understand how to prepare the material, and discover sustainable techniques.

Test your patience, immerse yourself in the local community, and communicate in your own way. Most importantly, remember to share laughter together!

Sailing trip

The sea has a tranquilizing effect on us, so why not let a local from the village escort you on a voyage aboard their traditional sailboat, a Dhow?

If luck is on your side, you may even witness dolphins as they gracefully glide into the bay for their evening feast. Allow the ocean's gentle waves to rock you, let the wind sweep away all obligations, and relish the sunset as a vivid reminder of life's beauty.

Natural building

Explore the art of constructing with locally-sourced and recycled materials. Witness the entire process, from gathering and preparing clay to its creative use in constructing our buildings and interiors.

Our construction expert, Branchino, will be your patient mentor, generously sharing his extensive expertise in this field. At our core, we believe that every discarded item carries potential value, aligning with the principles of a circular economy.

Let's together promote the knowledge of up-cycling in its diverse forms. So, if you're up for a hands-on experience, we can collaborate to build a community where every effort contributes to making it a more meaningful place to call home.

Social projects

How about setting aside an hour or two to lend a helping hand in one of the village's ongoing social projects? By doing so, we can come together and make a real difference in the lives of Linga Linga's residents while we're on our vacation.

Every skill and act of kindness matters, as building a sustainable and caring community takes many forms. Whether it's installing solar panels, teaching English, or sharing stories over banana pancakes at Tor Linga Linga's eco-nights, your contribution will be deeply appreciated and felt by all.
