Your Room
One man. Two worlds. Michel Olofsson has dedicated his life to bring about positive change to the local community of Linga Linga, Mozambique. "But there’s a fine balance one needs to understand", Michel says. "Otherwise the village will not claim ownership over the ideas and actions implemented. It has to be on their terms – what do they want and need? Not what we, as a western volunteer organisation, think they want and need. The change we can bring about, needs to happen in accordance with the local community and grow organically and naturally together with them. That's the only way of doing sustainable charity". This short trailer invites us into Michel’s everyday world and gives us a glimpse of what life can look like for a dedicated and passionate man with hopes and dreams for the place he now calls home.
Who is Tor?
