I'm grateful you've find your way here!

Hello! I'm Michel Olofsson, the proud founder of Tor Linga Linga. Born in Mozambique to a Mozambican mother and Swedish father, I've always considered both countries as my homes.

My passion for giving back and improving lives led me to focus on Mozambique, a place close to my heart. I envisioned creating a connection between Sweden and Mozambique, providing an opportunity for people to contribute to improve the living standards for those in Mozambique. Yet, simultaneously, discover a place and time where one can find peace and disconnect from the demands the world often places upon us. Everything is about finding balance and harmony.

In the charming village of Linga Linga, I built a small eco lodge, collectively known as Tor Linga Linga, named after my goat, Tor. A portion of the lodge's profits is dedicated to financing charitable projects, often carried out with the help of dedicated students and volunteers from around the world and community.

Having spent a significant part of my childhood in Mozambique and being fluent in the local language, I intimately understand the local culture and the needs of the community. Sustainability is a core value for me, and I am a strong advocate for using local and recycle materials available in the area for our projects.

Tor Linga Linga is more than just a place to stay; it's a sincere effort to bring people from different parts of the world together and make a positive impact. We invite you to be a part of this journey and experience the warmth and impact of Tor Linga Linga firsthand.
